Film goofs - page 66
Dhliz records thousands of goofs spotted across a great many films. You can read through them here:
At the meeting chaired by Adham El-Shazly, where Loutfy and others are sitting, in the shot where he says, "Now our scandal has become notorious throughout the whole country," he throws the newspaper onto the papers in front of him, in the middle of them; Loutfy is not holding a pen, and Adham's hands are spread apart. In the next shot, however, there is a pen in Loutfy's hand, the newspaper is beside the papers rather than on them, and Adham's hands are clasped.
We see The Prostitute, whom Gomaa brought to Adham's house, place her hand on his shoulder, but in the next shot her hand is not in the same place.
The shadow of the microphone moving can be seen on Adham's shirt while he talks with Abdou at the office door.
From Al-Gazira (الجزيرة)
The English Officer says the first Eliyahu's name as "Eliyahu Hakim," whereas his colleague says his name as "Eliyahu Haim"; the correct name is Hakim: Eliyahu Bet-Zuri and Eliyahu Hakim.
Some of the words and dialogue from Sameh and The Thief are unclear.
When Nada lets go of the glass she is drinking from and it falls to the floor and breaks, the spilled liquid is white, even though she had been drinking a brown liquid.
When the power goes out, The Thief starts lighting candles, but we see illogical lighting on the bed from above and notice the shadow of the two people sitting on the bed on the floor. When the electricity comes back, the same shadow remains on the floor, showing that it was not from a candle or candles.
