When Armed Forces Commander goes to the party after Ashraf's wedding, the camera's shadow is visible on his face as he climbs the stairs and approaches it.
As the camera moves over the food at Samia's first party, the camera's shadow can be seen moving with it across the table.
When Samia drives the car into a side street, we hear the tires screeching on the asphalt, even though she is driving at a normal speed, and the same thing does not happen when she later turns into the cinema street.
The British embassy sign reads "British Embassie"; in English it should be "British Embassy," and even if the sign were in French it should be "Ambassade Britannique.".
