Film goofs - page 56
Dhliz records thousands of goofs spotted across a great many films. You can read through them here:
We hear Al-Haj Awadein say that Attia's father's name is "Abdel Khaleq," but when Zeinat’s Colleague at Work asks about him by phone at his workplace, she says his name is "Attia Sharaf El-Din," and this happens again later.
When Khayreya milks the cow, we hear the milk falling into the container, but the sound does not match her milking movements; it is heard at a different time from the actual milking action.
When Khayreya milks the cow, we do not see any milk coming out, but we hear it falling into the container.
In the scene where the police review information about the gang, one officer says the martyred officer's rank was lieutenant, even though his rank is first lieutenant as shown in the scene in which he appears. It would perhaps have been more realistic for him to receive a posthumous promotion and be referred to as captain.
The repeated scenes of people dying instantly after being shot are unrealistic, since a person does not die immediately just because a bullet enters their body. They may remain alive for minutes or hours afterward depending on where they were hit, and might even be treated and recover from the injury.
The screeching sound of Hanafi El Obbaha's vehicle in the final chase is unrealistic, as it does not match the car's movement.
The repeated gunshot scenes throughout the film are unrealistic in how quickly blood spots appear at the exact moment the shots are fired; the bullet would be expected to penetrate the body first, then the blood spot would appear gradually.
When Hanafi El Obbaha kills the man threatening Sherif with the knife, he is visibly far away from Sherif, although in the previous shot he was directly behind Sherif.
When Hanafi El Obbaha hits Sherif beside the cart, the blow clearly does not hit Sherif in the face but lands far from it, yet we hear the sound of the hit and Sheref reacts in pain. Then the reverse happens, with the second man hitting the first, and the same thing is repeated more than once.
After Hanafi El Obbaha pours boiling water from the kettle onto Ahmed’s Colleague's head in the workshop and they both go down, in the next lower shot there are no traces of water on the man's face as in the first shot, no traces of boiling water on his face, and no smoke from the thick smoke visible from the water in the kettle.
