  The film's general theme revolves around death, suicide, and illness. This is in addition to her earlier life having been surrounded by suicide incidents involving her fiancé once, her husband once, her friend once, and her lover once!
  Ouka gives Seddiqa a cup of "goose blood" to give to Hassan, but she is disgusted by it. In fact, many countries eat animal blood in different ways, whether as blood soup or otherwise, including goose, chicken, pig blood, and so on.
  Ouka is the eleventh child in his family, and he also has a younger brother.

 Some words do not match the mouth movements.
 In Seddiqa's conversation with Saeid when he tells her about her smile, we notice behind him a shadow moving on his shoulder, probably the microphone's shadow.
 After Seddiqa throws shoe polish at Ouka, we notice the microphone appearing and moving in the middle of the screen above the window in the background.
 When Ouka looks toward His Friend in the boat for the first time, we see one of the boat's ropes behind him, although in the earlier, wider shot he was some distance from the rope.
