  Ragia is 20 years old at the start of the film.
  In one of the love dialogues between Ragia and Ibrahim, she talks about "Our Sweet Days" (the happy times between her and her lover). The year after this film was produced (1955), Faten Hamama starred in a film with the same title, Ayamna Al-7Elwa.
  Meshkal spent ten years in Ibrahim's service.
Goofs (9)
 When Ragia draws Ibrahim's portrait, the picture changes during the drawing into another one: the portrait she began with had different features and expression, but a second later it changes into a clearer picture with similar yet different features.
 When Ibrahim plays the oud beside Ragia by the sea at sunset, his hand movement on the oud does not match the melodies being heard.
 During Abdel-Rahman's conversation with Ragia while she is on her sickbed, the position of her fists on her stomach differs between the shot from the left and the shot from the right in the same scene.
 When Ragia replays the recorded conversation with Ibrahim in front of Dr. Tawfiq Muhammad and Dr Ahmed Zaky, the brief silence in the original scene during Ibrahim's kiss to Ragia is missing from the recording; instead, their dialogue continues without that brief pause.
 When Dr. Tawfiq Muhammad and Dr Ahmed Zaky go to Asafra by the sea, the close shots of them appear to have been composited onto the background: the original background was sunny, while the close shot has different lighting and angle. The iron railing on the corniche also differs in size and thickness from the one used in the close shot.
 During The Mill Guard's conversation with Dr. Tawfiq Muhammad and Dr Ahmed Zaky beside the mill window, he is seen looking at Dr Ahmed Zaky, but in the next shot from the other side he is looking at Dr. Tawfiq Muhammad. His hand is also in front of Dr. Tawfiq Muhammad, then behind him in that next shot.
 When Laila reads from the book to Ibrahim, the sunlight on her face and his face changes between the close and wide shots, and this happens more than once.
 Some words do not match the mouth movements, such as the scene where Laila asks Ibrahim what he is reading.
 When Saneya brings the fruit plate to Ibrahim while he is in bed, she is looking at him, but when she finishes her line and the camera cuts to the other side, she is looking down.
