In the opening scene, Captain Shebl is holding a book on learning Windows 98, but in the next shot he is using Windows XP, a newer version of Windows that differs greatly in how it is used.
Among the files Captain Shebl transfers from the hacked computer during his secret mission, we see files unrelated to the mission, such as a video file titled "PEPSI world challenge.wmv".
The method Captain Shebl uses to copy the important documents onto a CD is not the correct way to transfer files to a CD in Windows XP.
In the scene where Captain Shebl visits the Four Cats during the massage session, we see behind him several soldiers, including one wearing a captain's rank, yet he appears and behaves like the other soldiers; at the end of the scene, the captain pushes him out of the room with the others.
The superior of Captain Shebl (actor Hassan Hosny) addresses him several times as "Hadret el-Naqeeb," although the more common forms would be "Seyadet el-Naqeeb" or "Hadret el-Zabet," the latter usually being used as a reprimand.
