As in other roles where Hassan Hosny plays an officer, he gives the military salute incorrectly, which is unexpected from a police officer with the rank of major general. The character's performance also does not fit the position.
At the beginning of the film, Nagdat's Wife shouts at him that he will wake the children with his yelling, and Nagdat mentions his son Hatem in the same shot, but there are no later scenes featuring the family's children.
In the scene where Officer Bassiouny storms the university at the end of the film, in the shot where the officer jumps through the security room window, the glass is clearly not real.
The actress Mona Hala's name appears in the credits as 'Mona Hala'.
