He turned to art from childhood in primary school in the city of Tanta.
He joined the acting team at the Faculty of Law.
The first to nominate him was the artist Zaky Tolaimat, after he graduated from the Higher Institute of Theatrical Arts.
He combined law practice with acting, then devoted himself to acting.
He founded a theater troupe on July 23, 1952, named the "Free Theater" troupe.
