A shot of the artist Hamdy Al-Wazir glaring threateningly and contemptuously at the artist Youssef Mansour became very widely circulated on social media as a symbol of a mocking or harassing look. It was also mistakenly associated with the film The Rapists, in which the artist Laila Elwi also co-starred with him, as she did in Qabdat Al-Helaly.
Some of the action shots in the film became emblematic of the production and direction standards of action films in the 1990s, especially the scene where Saber smashes walls made of foam and the scene where the police clash with criminals using kung fu moves.

In the final battle scene, it is clear that the walls Saber Al-Helaly smashes with his fist are merely foam panels.
The film contains some extremely naive scenes, such as Saber Al-Helaly's dialogue with the kung fu players, who are convinced by his words and suddenly turn against the gang, the scene of the officer interrogating Layla, and the police clash with the gang at the end.
