The film was to be released during Eid al-Adha 2016 (as written on one poster), but its release was postponed to the New Year season; it also was not released then because the censors requested cuts to some scenes.
The film was going to be titled "I Am a Terrorist," but the title was changed.
Producer Ahmad Al-Sobky said he removed all the scenes the censors had asked to be cut.
