He entered the field of art as a child.
His name appeared in the credits in different forms: it appeared as "Wegdan Abdel Badie" when he was a child in the film Nahr Al-Hob, and also as "Wagdy Abdel Badie" in the credits of some films, such as 7Elwa Wa Shaqia, and Al-Okhwan Al-Sadiqan, and also appeared simply as "Wagdy" in the credits of the film Fadee7A Fel-Zamalek.
