Muhammad Abdel-Wahab adopted her artistically in the late 1940s.
She was called "Nagat al-Saghira" because singer Nagat Ali was very famous at that time.
After retiring in 2002 for 15 years, she returned with her voice only in Song: Kol El Kalam, with lyrics by artist Abdel-Rahman Al-Abnoudy and composed by poet Talal.
