He worked as an assistant director with a number of the most important Egyptian directors.
He directed several documentary and short fiction films, including The Emigrants (documentary), produced by the International Film Group, Rome 1998. Weshbak (short fiction) at the Egyptian Academy of Arts, Rome 1997. And Adam Henein (documentary), produced by Nile International Channel, 1995.
He directed a number of live and recorded programs for ART (Cairo Center) between 2001 and 2006.
The film We Have Met Before" is considered its director's first feature-length fiction film, produced by Studio Misr, 2008 .
