Trivia (5)
The sound was done in Dolby Digital and DTS.
Habiba's car plate: 472211 — Cairo private car.
A scene from Film: The Passion of the Christ by Mel Gibson is shown in the scene where Khaled meets Monir.
At the start of the film, Khaled talks about how some people view Omar Harn as if he were the devil. Later, we see a scene from The Passion of the Christ, immediately followed by a scene of Omar Harn with Khaled on a high place, where Omar Harn tells him that everything he sees before him could be his. The scene is clearly inspired by the Bible, where it is mentioned that the devil tried to tempt Jesus Christ by taking him to a high mountain: "Then the devil took Him again to a very high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory, and said to Him: 'All these I will give You if...'".
  Habiba is of Armenian origin.
Goofs (4)
When Khaled slaps Zeina, we notice that his hand is far from her face and does not hit it, yet we hear the slap and see its effect on Zeina. The same thing happens again with the next slap in the same scene.
In the scene where Zeina cries after being beaten by Khaled, we notice that the words do not match the mouth movements.
When Habiba thanks The Doctor, we see her mouth move before the sound.
The butterfly scene is clearly a computer-generated butterfly, not a real one.
