He was the son of the sheikh of Al-Husseini Mosque.
His father prepared him to take over his position after him.
He ran away from his father and from religious dhikr circles when he learned that the "Al-Qardahi" theater troupe was coming from the Levant.
He became attached to theater despite his father's punishment, and his father died displeased with him, having disowned him.
He wrote his memoirs in "Al-Sabah" newspaper.
