He presented several performances on the university stage.
He staged Sartre's play "Dead Without Graves" at the French Cultural Center.
He participated in the graduation project of young director Omar Rushdy, the film I Want to Say Action. Omar Rushdy was in Karim El-Adl's class at the Cinema Institute; Karim saw Ahmed Dawood in this project, asked him to audition, and chose him for the lead role in the film "Boy and Girl". From there his artistic career began, as this film is considered his real start.
